Announcing the release of the following new editions of Gem Trek Maps on May 1, 2025:
Banff and Mount Assiniboine Map (10th edition)
Canmore & Kananaskis Country Map (8th edition)
Lake O’Hara Map (5th edition)
Icefields Parkway Map (5th edition)
All maps are printed in Canada, and with the exception of Lake O’Hara, are printed by Burke Group in Edmonton on waterproof and tear-resistant paper.
We spent the summer of 2024 out in the field researching these maps, and then over the winter, inputting changes and working with Parks Canada and Alberta Parks to ensure they were as up to date as possible.
2025 Gem Trek Map Covers
Starting in 2025, we have added a new element to our map covers – a dash of yellow, whether it be clothing, a backpack, or in the case of the Icefields Parkway map, a yellow vehicle.
